Street Photography: Catching the Moment

Viewpoint Photographic Art Center invites all college and high school students of photography to submit photographs for an exhibition hosted by Viewpoint and the Crocker Art Museum. This photography show will be at the Crocker Art Museum in April 2026 in conjunction with Sacramento Photography Month.

Street Photography can include urban, suburban and rural environments. As you approach this work, what is it that causes you to stop and look again? Is it lighting, action on the street. Does it include people, animals, buildings, signs? What do you want the viewer to understand about what grabbed your attention and inspired you to make this photograph?
