Snapshots to Stunning Shots: Phone Photography with David Wong

The best camera is the one you have with you. Everyone has their iPhone/cell phone with them, and it has a great camera. We will be teaching with the iPhone, but many of the settings apply equally to Android phones though the menus will vary.

Everyone knows how to take a photo with their iPhone/cell phone but many people only know how to press the shutter button and not much else. In this two-hour class, we will go beyond just pushing the shutter button, you will see how to:

• Access the other “hidden” menus to control our exposures.
• Make narrow DOF portrait shots with blurred backgrounds.
• Shoot high frame rates up to 10 shots per second.
• Get those creamy waterfall shots using only the iPhone.
• Learn 3 ways to instantly turn on your camera to never miss a shot.
• Select the right lenses for highest resolution and so much more.

We will also dive into editing with the easy editing tools right on the iPhone to make our photos pop.

Finally, we explore some of the accessories we can utilize to extend our iPhone’s usefulness!
