Be There, the theme of the annual November juried exhibit Eleven, recognizes the fulfillment photographers experience when creating images that are the result of preparation, seeking, opportunity, and actually being there. This is true whether the photo is of a child’s first step, part of a travelogue, or light thrown by a skyscraper’s windows. The photograph sustains the memory of being there and then invites viewers to share the experience. Jeff Redman, juror, long-time photographer and founding figure of Viewpoint, selected the exhibit from over 500 entries from across the United States.

Don’t miss the opportunity to BE THERE!

Redman has taught courses in beginning photography, the zone system, and Photoshop at local colleges. Ever inquisitive, he learned carbon printing directly from Vaughn Hutchins during COVID. Redman continues to support Viewpoint with his expertise, experience, and broad knowledge of photography.
